Growing up I can't recall paying too much attention to the types of oils you use to cook or these oils elevating the flavor of your food. It was only later in life when I was introduced to fine dining establishments that my palette expanded to appreciate the many flavors that quality oils can bring to a dish. From the different chili oils in Asian food to the oils used in Italian cuisine, it matters big time. When a friend recommended Savor The Oil, I must admit I was intrigued. So, I set my mind to trying it out and wow!
As soon as I walked in I knew this was a serious movement of flavor. A beautiful storefront that was only matched by the vast selection of infused oils and vinegars. I was like a child discovering a new toy, but this toy I could eat. With so many options, I settled on a garlic herb infused oil to start. I can't wait to see what recipes this will be part of.
